ANOTHER YEAR OF HOMESCHOOL!!.. | HOW TO CELEBRATE GOING BACK TO SCHOOL..

Hi everyone! It is almost that time of year. Back to school! Homeschool, virtual learning, returning back to in-person learning in the classrooms, it does not matter, school is back in session!

My little guy had his first day of homeschool preschool this past Monday and it was exciting because this is our third year homeschooling him and possibly our last due to having him attend private schooling next year. Who knows, we shall see.

Anywho, I created a reel and post on my Instagram creating and celebrating my son’s first day of homeschool!

I wanted to celebrate his first day because again as I mentioned, this will possibly be our last year homeschooling and also, wanting him to get excited about learning this fall. Created this cute and vibrant photo using some materials that we will be using for schooling and sharing his new backpack, and new books about school I had purchased from Barnes and Noble.

I had received so much compliments on this photo and my reel on my Instagram, which Pottery Barn Kids will be sharing my post of this picture on their Instagram!

I wanted to share some fun ideas for you to create for your kiddo(s) to celebrate them returning to school and his or her first day of school no matter how they are learning this year.

FIRST: DO YOUR FAVORITE SUMMER ACTIVITIES ONE LAST TIME..

*Whether it is the park, going to your favorite theme parks, getting ice cream, or some fun in the sun at the pool or beach, take part in your family’s favorite summertime activities one good time before preparing for the return of school.

SECOND: TALK WITH YOUR KIDS ABOUT SCHOOL..

*For the past year or two, schools for all children has been different and challenging and this new school year is honestly going to be very different, challenging, but also exciting for the kids to see their friends return back from sumer break, Talking with them and answering any of their questions about the school year can create a healthy outlet for you and your children about whatever may come up this school year.

THIRD: MAKE SCHOOL SHOPPING FUN!..

*Evey child and parent loves school supply shopping! Shopping for the latest and cool school supplies and clothes is always a fun activity to do as a family, so make that day a day of fun and seeing the excitement of your kid’s faces when they choose which shirt to wear on their first day or which color backpack they would like this school year.

FOURTH: DO A FUN BACK TO SCHOOL PHOTOSHOOT..

*Start your kid’s first day of school off with some good ol’ fun! Create a mini and creative photoshoot with your kids celebrating their return back to school! The “First Day of Homeschool” flag was purchased from a small business on Etsy!

FIFTH: MAKE IT A FUN SCHOOL YEAR!..

Though the school year will be different, encourage your children to be positive about the school year. Create positive affirmations for your kids to speak positivity before going to school to start his or her day great. Ask them about how their school day was at the end of the day, become engaging with their schoolwork, schooldays, and possible school activities, to make this school year as fun and somewhat normal for your kiddos.

Hope you enjoy reading my helpfl tips for a great school year! Here’s to another safe and great school year for all of the children, teachers, and school staff.

Hi. Welcome..

Hi! My name is Paris J. Welcome to my blog if you are new and if you have been following my blog ever since I have began my blogging journey almost 8 years ago, thank you all for your continuing support!

I have been taking almost two-year hiatus from blogging because let’s be honest, I had no energy or inspiration to blog. I had other activities such as becoming the mom and lifestyle influencer that I am now on Instagram and on Youtube. Finishing my advancement in my college education for obtaining another college degree, figuring out this journey called motherhood along the way, and also, trying to handle my mental and spiritual health.

You may ask “why am I wanting to blog now after so long?” I honestly do miss blogging and communicating with so many of my support following from around the world and various cultures and walks of life. Over the eight years my blog site has received very much acknowledgment from other bloggers and readers thanks to the content I created on my blog.

With that being said, I am happy to share that I will be returning to blog – but with new changes.

My blog was first created as more of a beauty blog; consisting of beauty reviews, makeup products and looks. Don’t get me wrong, I still am a lover of all things beauty but that’s not my main focus for the new changes of my blog now.

With new changes, my blog will be created with content of all things motherhood and lifestyle. Parenting discussions, a few beauty-related content, and home decor.

I want the content I create here on my blog to inspire all mothers of all and various kinds of motherhood. I want you to be able to feel welcomened and comfortable when you visit my blog and read my posts. You are going to get the real and honest feelings, emotions, and discussions from me.

I hope with the new changes to my blog that you can take whatever information and discussions shared on here with you all to heart and to feel inspired by.

Welcome to my new blog… The Simply Paris J. Lifestyle.

That is my overall motive – to inspire all moms of all motherhoods!

5 THINGS MOTHERHOOD HAS TAUGHT ME…

Happy Wednesday! Welcome to my blog! I am excited to be back blogging and creating all new blogs for you guys! During my hiatus, I have been enjoying moments of being at home, being more active on my Instagram and creating motherhood and lifestyle content on my Youtube channel, and simply enjoying motherhood with my son.

Speaking of motherhood, I would like to share 5 things that motherhood has taught me. Motherhood is such a beautiful experience; moments happening for myself as a mother to a toddler in which I have learned so much about. I would like to share with you all those 5 things in hopes you will understand or even possibly inspire and encourage any mothers reading this.

The first thing motherhood has taught me is patience. Patience is such a gentle aspect to have as a mother. I’ll admit, I haven’t had the best patience as being a mother; especially being a stay at home mother and trying to balalnce everything in life – mother, blogger, womanhood, it has never been that easy. Especially being home a lot more due to what is currently going on in the world, I’ve learned a lot more about patience and motherhood. Balancing both has taught me that some things can’t always go as you planned and that moments of impatience is not everlasting. Patience is the true essential in being a mother.

Second thing motherhood has taught me is that things may not go as in what you planned. This was kind of challenging for me to understand this because I consider myself as a “planner mom” because I love to plan. I love to create and have routines and lists, especially being a mom. I have routines for myself, family routines, a routine for my son, I create grocery lists, or lists of items we need to get from Target. I would becocme somewhat upset if plans didn’t go as they were planned – especially if it involves inviting guests. I had to take the time to reevualate myself and to talk with myself in detail that it is okay for plans to not go right. It’s no reason to be upset over things that are not in your control.

Being honest as a mother is a third thing I had learned. Being honest with myself. Being honest that not everyday will be good. I will have my good and bad days but to never allow what is happening in the moment that is negative for me affect myself as a mother.

The fourth thing I’ve learned as a mother is to take the time to learn about my son. Learn about his needs and wants. Understanding his feelings and emotions. Take the time to just enjoy every moment with and of him because kids do grow up fast and you’ll be wanting or wishing for those special moments to last forever.

The fifth and fnal thing I learned about motherhood is that I need to be the mother that I WANT to be. To not view other moms’ “perfect” lifestyles to match with my own. Trust me, not every mom has motherhood planned out right because it is a learning experience and it is okay to make mistakes and to learn from those lessons. Motherhood is one of those experiences where you are in control of how you want to be as a mother to your children. As a mom, you will have those days where you are exhausted and may get upset with the smallest thing that bothers you, and then the days where everything is roses, but theres nothing more loving and beautiful to hear and see your child smile, tell you that they love you, give you hugs.

As a mother and a woman, I want to inspire all mothers of all motherhoods! I want you to feel welcomed and loved when you do read my blog or watch my videos on Youtube. Always know that you are not in this journey alone and that you do have support of so many mothers who are here to support you and each other. If anyone hasn’t told you today yet, you are doing great mama!

6 WAYS TO MAKE SURE YOUR LITTLE ONE STAYS SAFE IN THE SUMMER HEAT

Summer heat has been in full-effect throughout the whole month of July!

Summer is the hottest season many people enjoy. The warm weather, vacations, good food. Though summertime is filled with fun and good weather, it can also be a dangerous time for people’s health, especially young children, due to warm or exceeding hot temperatures.

Thankfully, I have been very cautious and aware of how the season has been and making sure my little one stays hydrated with plenty of water and sunscreen on to protect his skin while we are out.

Today, I would like to share five ways you can make sure your little one is safe during the summertime heat.

  1. WATER: It is very important for your little one to always be hydrated and drinking water is essential. Having your little one drink plenty of water can help them not get sick or dehydrated while out in the sun.
  2. SUNSCREEN: Applying sunscreen on your little one’s skin for the day will help protect his or her skin from skin cancers and sunburn. Apply your favorite sunscreen on your child’s skin before they go outside will help their skin be protected. I like to use the Babo Botanicals Clear for Babies Fragrance Free Zinc Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30, for my son’s skin.
  3. CHECK THE WEATHER BEFORE HEADING OUT: Watching your local news weather reports also help to determine if it is safe for your little one as well as yourself to go out.
  4. PACK EXTRA WATER AND HEALTH NECESISTIES WHILE OUT: If you and your little one are out at the beach, vacation, or taking caring of errands, it is always a good idea to have extra water bottles as well as medicines, sunscreen, and anything else your little one needs. Pack extra water bottles in a lunchbag or bring a cooler with you filled with ice to help be hydrated.
  5. NEVER LEAVE A CHILD IN A CAR: ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, get your little one out the car FIRST before grabbing anything else you may need (keys, phone, wallet). It is NEVER okay to leave a child in an unsupervised car alone, especially in the hot, summer heat!
  6. LOOKOUT FOR WARNING SIGNS IF YOUR LITTLE ONE FEELS SICK: If your little one expresses they don’t feel well or fells too hot, please check on their body and indeed call the pediatrician right away. If your little one is little little like my son who is 16 months, and can’t talk or express ohow they feel, indeed tend to them and call the pediatrician. In cases of an emergencies, right away call 911 or visit the hospital.

I hope the following tips and information were helpful and that can help make sure your little one as well as yourself, stay safe and healthy this summer!

Hi everyone!!

It has indeed been a very long time since I have blogged and chat with you all. I have been defintely busy in my personal life and needed to take some time to re-gather myself as a mother and young woman.

Here is what happended in my life.

My little guy, Pharaoh, is officially now ONE!! Where has the time gone? It just felt like yesterday I was still pregnant! He is such a beautiful, intelligent, strong-willed, happy, child and seeing him grow each day is truly a blessing.

As for myself, I graduated last month with my degree in Psychology with a Specialization in Social Work! That means I am a graduate in Elementary Education and Psychology. I recently got accepted into James Madison University to further pursue my education! And this is the year I will be celebrating my first year of marriage as a military spouse.

Also, I made my Youtube channel! I finally did it! Finally had the courage to create a Youtube channel in which I upload beauty tutorials, vlogs, and how-to’s.

I am thankful for the blessings I have received these past 6 months of 2019 and I am super excited to experience what the rest of this year has instore for my little family and I!

Organic Feminine Hygiene Products Review | Beauty Review

Hey babes! Welcome to my blog. Today’s blog post I am going to share and review to you guys on some organic feminine hygiene products I have been using for awhile now.

I have been using non-organic feminine hygiene products in the past ever since I had my period back in middle school; but it wasn’t until after I gave birth to my son and had my first period since giving birth is when I had researched and began to use organic feminine hygiene products.

Last summer, I had began to use this wonderful organic feminine hygiene company, L., and I have tried their organic feminine products that are of cotton material as well as free from any and all harsh chemicals and ingredients. I absolutely love their tampons and their overnight pads!

As of the past recent week, I have been using another great organic feminine hygiene brand called The Honey Pot Company, and ladies, let me tell you that I AM IN LOVE! The Honey Pot Company is a plant-based feminine care brand and the pads that I used and is pictured above, felt so comfortable with the herbal ingredients and aloe, that I MUST have to share to ladies.

I honestly have to say that I am so happy that I had switched to using organic feminine hygiene products; organic products in general. For me, I am going to use more of The Honey Pot Company and its products because I love the variation of the line of products the company has for us ladies!

Ladies, our feminine hygiene health is very important to us and it is up to us to make sure we continue to be healthy as well as see our doctors who can help us and our feminine hygiene health.

Thank you ladies for reading this! I have links of the following companies mentioned below for you ladies to check out and get more information on!
